Evidence Submitted To Parliamentary Select Committees
Committees consider policy issues, scrutinise Government work, expenditure, and examine proposals for primary and secondary legislation. Committees particularly relevant to WASPI are The Work and Pensions Committee (Chair: Stephen Timms) and The Women and Equalities Committee (Chair: Caroline Nokes). During the Covid-19 pandemic, other committees have commenced inquiries pertinent to WASPI women. We regularly check the Committee schedules, and will provide evidence to any inquiry which can influence the Government to improve the situation of WASPI women.
