Along with the Round Table meeting for Labour MPs WASPI were delighted to meet with a range of supportive Conservative MPs in Westminster this week who strongly echo our calls for fair and fast compensation for all WASPI women. MPs from all parties are quickly waking up to the reality that Parliament must have an active role in ensuring justice is delivered.
We are grateful for the continued support from Peter Aldous MP (Waveney) top; John Penrose MP MP (Weston-Super-Mare) below left; and Marco Longhi MP(Dudley North) below right for asking questions of DWP ministers and reminding them of the important role of Parliament in deciding how compensation can be administered following the release of the final Ombudsman’s report this spring.
